Job descriptionPosition Template Facility Name : Mercy Hospital Springfield Floor : Oncology 7A Role : RN Specialty : Oncology Number of Openings : 1 Shift : Nights, 19 : 00-07 : 00 Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 36 or 48 Assignment Length : 13 weeks Weekend Hours : As required by facility Call Requirements : None Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care. Current RN License in Missouri BLS from AHA only NIHSS (must obtain prior to start) 1 year Med Surg / Oncology or 1 year Oncology, inpatient only Will float on a rotational basis within med surg cluster only Shift : Nights, 19 : 00-07 : 00 Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 36 or 48 Assignment Length : 13 weeks Weekend Hours : As required by facility Call Requirements : None Number of Beds : 23 Patient Ratios : 6 : 1 (adjusted for certain chemotherapy regimens) Type of Patients on Unit : oncology / hematology, some med surg overflow, comfort care Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality of patient information. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.
