Description :

The Intensive Care Unit is looking for an experienced Registered Nurse.

This position involves caring for critically ill patients with complex conditions.

Patient care includes managing cases related to sepsis, ARDS, renal failure, and heart failure.

Nurses will assist with VAD workups, alcohol withdrawal, overdose, and multi-organ failure.

Post-cardiac arrest care and targeted temperature management are also part of patient care.

The nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1 : 2, with occasional 1 : 1 based on patient acuity.

Nurses must have experience with arterial line management, central line care, and ventilator management.

Nurses are expected to manage continuous IV sedation and blood product administration.

Knowledge of ECMO, IABP, and Impella is essential for effective patient care.

This unit practices isolation precautions and utilizes personal protective equipment.

Responsibilities include interpreting arterial blood gases and managing dysrhythmias.

The unit supports interdisciplinary collaboration with various health services.

Patient demographics include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

The daily census averages around 7 patients.

Candidates should be flexible and willing to float when necessary.

Travel experience is required for this position.
