Certified Recovery Peer Advocate

JOB DEFINITION :

The Certified Recovery Peer Advocate I (CRPA I) functions as a member of an individual's treatment team to assist with the outreach, support and coordination of care for eligible service recipients. The CRPA I will serve as a role model and / or health coach for clients. The CRPA I is also responsible for assisting with the promotion of the Agency and its programs in the community, and will work with existing agency personnel and a variety of outside agencies to provide education on the existence of drug and alcohol use prevention services.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS :

• High School Diploma or GED
• Provisional certification (CRPA-P) upon hire and receipt of full certification (CRPA) within one year is required.
