Liberty Vet Pets - Veterinary Hospital & Home Visit Services is seeking a full-time receptionist and veterinary assistant to join our team. If you have experience in the veterinary field and possess excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you. Our clinic offers a supportive and friendly work environment where you can make a difference in the lives of pets and their owners. Daily Responsibilities : Answering phones and scheduling appointments Assisting the veterinarian during exams and procedures Data entry and retrieval using veterinary business software Greeting clients and preparing exam rooms Collecting payments and scanning documents Performing cleaning duties to maintain a clean and organized workspace Required Skills : Experience in mail distribution and sorting Ability to provide clerical support to the team Knowledge of patient scheduling and registration Strong communication skills and attention to detail Proficiency in office procedures and computer skills Nice to Have Skills : Experience with insurance verification Knowledge of front office operations Ability to handle switchboard operations Proficiency in spreadsheets and word processing Experience in ordering supplies and maintaining inventory Salary and Benefits : We offer a competitive salary range of $20,000 to $40,000, health insurance, 401(k) options, vacation leave, sick leave, holiday pay, and paid time off.
