Construction Project Manager

Southland Holdings is seeking a skilled Assistant Project Manager to assist PM in our construction project involving concrete and pipe installation at water facilities in the Portland, OR area.

Responsibilities :

• Assist the team in developing comprehensive project plans, timelines, and schedules.
• Coordinate resources and materials to ensure timely project completion.
• Assist in monitoring project budgets, expenses, and costs.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and ensure adherence to financial targets.
• Oversee contract negotiations, procurement, and subcontractor management.
• Ensure compliance with contractual agreements and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, permits, and progress reports.
• Prepare comprehensive project reports for internal and external stakeholders.
• Help and motivate project teams to achieve project objectives.
• Foster a collaborative work environment and promote teamwork and accountability.
• Address project challenges and obstacles effectively.
• Implement innovative solutions to overcome issues and ensure project success.
