Position Overview

This full-time, flexible-schedule home health OT role provides a unique opportunity to develop deep, trusted relationships with patients in their own environments. You'll work autonomously while benefiting from the support of a dynamic interdisciplinary care team dedicated to whole-person healing.

Responsibilities

Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to each patient's goals and home environment

Implement evidence-based interventions to improve motor function, cognitive skills, and activities of daily living

Educate patients and caregivers on safe techniques and tools for continued recovery at home

Document and track progress, adapting therapy plans to ensure optimal outcomes

Coordinate with physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, nurses, and physicians to deliver integrated care

Promote safety, independence, and wellness to reduce rehospitalization and foster long-term health

Education Requirements

Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

New graduates encouraged to apply

Certifications & Licensure

Active Occupational Therapist (OTR / L) license in the state of Texas

Certification from the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

Skills & Qualifications

Previous home health or rehab setting experience preferred

Strong diagnostic reasoning and clinical documentation skills

Empathy and communication skills to engage diverse patient populations

Ability to adapt quickly and work independently across varied home environments

Reliable transportation and comfort driving between appointments across Central Texas
