Job descriptionABM a leading provider of integrated facility solutions is looking for a Floor person The Floorperson is responsible for cleaning and maintaining carpet and hard surface floors including stripping scrubbing buffing waxing refinishing sealing and spot cleaning. Also responsible for using safety measures in work areas. Duties also include assisting the Building / Account Lead with special projects including but not limited to setups breakdowns move in / move outs). Willing to complete other duties as assigned. Cleans building floors by sweeping mopping scrubbing or vacuuming them. Follows procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures. Sometimes using ladders dusts and washes furniture walls machines and equipment; cleans ceilings and dusts and polishes light fixtures. Washes and replaces blinds Mixes water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions according to specifications Strips seals finishes and polishes floors Cleans and vacuums carpeted areas including application of spot cleaning treatment Cleans and maintains buildings / facilities. Performs heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors shampooing rugs Notifies managers concerning the need for minor or major repairs or additions to building operating systems Establishes and maintains effective communication and working relationships with clients co-workers shift coordinators supervisors managers etc. Complies with all safety security compliance and quality standards and procedures established by the Company Clients and regulatory authorities Cleaner must be flexible and willing to complete all tasks that are assigned.
Description
Bonus : $250 after receiving SIDA badge and working at FedEx(approximately 30 days); $250 after 60 days
Schedule : Sunday- Thursday 6pm-2 : 30am
Pay Rate : $19.00 per hour
The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. A specific offer will vary based on applicants experience skills abilities geographic location and alignment with market data.
Location : Airport in Anchorage
- Valid birth certificate or passport required for security clearance to enter or park personal vehicle in Airport
