Job description

Coding Quality Review Educator – Remote (Inpatient Audit Focus)

Location : Oklahoma City, OK (Remote – Candidates must reside in OK, KS, MO, TX, or AR) - Need proof to show address

Duration

13 weeks

Pay rate : $40 - $45 / hr.

Schedule

  • Full-time | 40 hours / week | 5 days / week
  • Training : 7 : 00 AM – 4 : 30 PM CST
  • Independent production : Between 6 : 00 AM – 6 : 00 PM CST

Certifications

  • One or more of the following credentials is required
  • RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC

    • Education & Experience

  • Required : High school diploma or GED.
  • Preferred : Associate or Bachelor's degree in HIM / HIT.
  • Experience :
  • Minimum 5 years of acute care inpatient / outpatient coding experience.
  • Minimum 3 years of coding auditing / monitoring or training experience.
  • Experience in academic medical centers or trauma centers strongly preferred.

    • Required Skills & Expertise

  • Expert knowledge of ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-PCS, CPT-4, MS-DRGs, APR-DRGs, APCs, and POA assignment
