As a Manufacturing Training Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the success of our manufacturing operations by training new hires on our welding, grinding, and quality control processes and standards. You will be responsible for equipping new team members with the necessary skills and knowledge to produce high-quality products that meet our stringent quality standards. Additionally, you will work closely with existing team members to identify and address areas for improvement, ultimately reducing errors and enhancing overall productivity.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive training sessions for new hires on welding, grinding, and quality control processes and standards.
• Provide hands-on training and guidance to ensure that new team members develop proficiency in welding and grinding techniques.
• Assess the skill levels of new hires and tailor training programs to meet individual learning needs.
• Monitor the performance of trainees and provide constructive feedback to help them improve their skills and meet quality standards.
• Collaborate with supervisors and team leaders to identify common errors and develop targeted training interventions to address them.
• Stay updated on industry best practices and advancements in welding, grinding, and quality control techniques, and integrate this knowledge into training programs.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on welding, grinding, and quality control, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
• Maintain accurate records of training activities and trainee progress.
• Continuously evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and make recommendations for improvements.
