Senior Software Engineer - Go Platform API

The Opportunity

As a Senior Go Engineer in our Platform APIs Team, you'll be instrumental in developing pivotal distributed services, where top-notch performance, scalability, and reliability are critical. We encourage our engineers to tackle projects independently while also fostering collaboration to solve complex challenges and brainstorm innovative designs. You will significantly impact the platform by maintaining high-performance standards and suggesting cost-efficient optimizations.

Your Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and enhance high-performance Go-based microservices that play a crucial role in transaction management and payment processing.
• Leverage CockroachDB with efficient database configurations and powerful queries to enhance scalability and speed.
• Optimize inter-service communication using NATS to ensure low-latency and efficient distributed processing.
• Continuously refine services to achieve a balance between cost-efficiency and exceptional performance, while upholding strict availability and performance SLOs.
• Ensure high availability standards in a Kubernetes multi-cloud environment operating across AWS, Azure, and GCP.
