Sales Technical Representative II

This position is remotely based. Sales territory from Los Angeles to San Diego, CA. The Microscopy Technical Sales Representative II is a technical expert and solutions provider to our materials sciences customers. You will spend time creating a complete microscopy solution for customers across a wide variety of industries and applications. Expertise in microscopy or similar technical products used by industrial customers is important to success. You will demonstrate equipment at customer facilities, showrooms, and virtually and develop a value proposition that aligns with the customer's objectives. You must possess an entrepreneurial spirit to target, educate, and persuade customers to adopt Evident Scientific's innovative product solutions. You will collaborate with other Evident technical experts and industry specialists to implement your strategy and achieve success.

Job Duties

• Proactively schedule sales calls with potential customers to demonstrate the value of our company and equipment solutions.
• Work directly with customers to arrive at a solution to their applications.
• Manage customer relationships at all levels and departments to maximize customer spending.
• Maintain a high level of customer activity to maximize the sales pipeline and increase closing percentages.
• Create and execute focused industry and account specific sales campaigns.
• Lead the strategic and tactical selling plan for converting customers to Evident products and solutions.
• Utilize national technical specialists and market specialists to close sales.
• Develop and implement a sales growth plan for your territory.
• Continuously learn new sales skills, product applications, and management techniques.

Job Requirements

Up to 85K base salary and 60K annual commission target.
