We are a leading eCommerce accounting software company dedicated to simplifying financial management for online sellers. Our cutting-edge platform automates bookkeeping by seamlessly syncing sales, inventory, fees, and transaction data from major marketplaces like Amazon, eBay, Walmart, Shopify, and TikTok to accounting tools like QuickBooks and Xero. With a focus on accuracy, real-time reporting, and scalability, we empower eCommerce businesses and their accountants to save time, optimize profits, and drive growth. We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Salesperson to join our team and forge partnerships with bookkeepers and accountants who serve eCommerce businesses. Your primary focus will be to engage these accounting professionals, close deals, and encourage them to integrate our software into their service offerings for their eCommerce clients. You'll build lasting relationships with key influencers in the accounting space, using your expertise to establish our platform as the premier solution for eCommerce bookkeeping. This role is ideal for an experienced sales professional with a strong background in software sales, particularly those who have worked with accountants or within the eCommerce sector, ready to make a significant impact in a rapidly growing company.

Responsibilities

  • Proactively identify and connect with bookkeepers and accountants who specialize in eCommerce to establish strategic partnerships.
  • Deliver compelling pitches and close deals with accounting professionals, highlighting how our software streamlines their clients' eCommerce accounting processes.
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified leads through outreach, networking, and leveraging your existing industry connections.
  • Craft customized sales strategies that resonate with the unique needs of accountants and bookkeepers, emphasizing how our platform enhances their ability to serve eCommerce clients.
  • Work closely with marketing and onboarding teams to ensure smooth partner integration and provide insights to refine outreach efforts.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitor solutions, and challenges in eCommerce accounting to position our platform as the market leader.
  • Leverage CRM tools to manage sales activities, track relationships, and report progress toward sales goals.
  • Represent the company at industry events, webinars, and conferences to network with potential partners and promote our solutions.
  • Guide junior sales team members, sharing expertise and strategies drawn from your experience in software or eCommerce sales.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in B2B software sales, ideally with a focus on engaging accountants or bookkeepers, or selling solutions tailored to eCommerce businesses. Candidates with senior-level experience at a competing eCommerce accounting software company are highly preferred, followed by those who have successfully sold technology solutions to accounting professionals or similar markets. Experience in eCommerce sales with a strong understanding of accounting needs is also valuable.
  • Demonstrated success in consistently meeting or surpassing sales targets, particularly when working with accounting professionals or eCommerce stakeholders.
  • A well-established network of contacts among eCommerce-focused bookkeepers, accountants, or related professionals is a significant advantage and may lead to enhanced compensation opportunities.
  • In-depth knowledge of eCommerce marketplaces (e.g., Amazon, Shopify, Walmart) and the accounting challenges faced by online sellers and their advisors.
  • Outstanding communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to adapt pitches to diverse audiences.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics tools to manage pipelines and forecast performance.
  • A self-driven, results-focused mindset, thriving in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not required for candidates with exceptional sales experience.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for industry events or client meetings.
  • Compensation

  • Base Salary : $150,000 USD per year.
  • Commission : Attractive commission structure tied to closed partnerships and revenue generated.
  • Additional Incentives : Candidates bringing a robust network of relevant contacts among eCommerce accountants or bookkeepers may qualify for enhanced compensation packages, including potential increases in base salary or bonuses, negotiated based on the strength of their network.
