Job descriptionBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required 7+ years of experience preferred in manufacturing or industrial electrical systems Strong understanding of electrical distribution systems (13.8 kV and below). Strong project management skills; able to work across multiple timelines and lead multi-million-dollar capital projects from concept through startup. Familiarity with PLCs, drives, and instrumentation systems Motivated learner with a proactive mindset Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and power system modeling tools preferred
Our client is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer for their manufacturing facility near Superior, WI.
This job will have the following responsibilities :
- Provide technical oversight for electrical systems installation, maintenance, and upgrade projects
- Lead planning, budgeting, and execution of electrical capital projects involving power distribution, drives, instrumentation, PLCs, and controls
- Manage external vendors, designers, consultants, and contractors to ensure timely, cost-effective execution
- Support operations with troubleshooting and maintenance of systems
- Maintain and update plant one-line diagrams and electrical distribution (=13.8 kV)
- Oversee power system engineering tasks, including Arc Flash program compliance
- Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize reliability and safety
