Facilities Maintenance Engineering Ops. Manager

Primary functions for this role will include but are not limited to plan, implement, coordinate and lead all mechanical operations, maintenance, communications, energy management, and workforce development programs for a facility, campus or portfolio of buildings. This site is on 5.5 acres and the building space is approximately 1.1MM sq ft. This site is government regulated and additional background check is required.

What You'll Do :

• Lead technical staff, including hiring, training, personnel development. (Approx. 9 direct reports)
• Perform small scale project management on a wide range of site projects at Facilities Engineering request.
• Provide budgetary estimates for project work on small projects to mid-level construction projects.
• Identify high priority deficit areas and bring to Facilities Engineering management attention for review and consideration of correction and / or solution implementation.
• Recommend / implement improvements for preventive maintenance programs on an ongoing basis and develop / maintain effective building-specific maintenance and safety procedure manuals.
• Coordinate maintenance efforts with outside contractors, tenant finish personnel and technicians. Lead all aspects of building systems including fire / life safety, plumbing, HVAC and electrical issues and must remain current with the latest HVAC technology trends.
• Oversight and mechanical engineering support for utility plant systems including steam, chilled water, compressed air, utilities provided throughout the campus, and rainwater harvesting for reduction of city water usage in the cooling towers.
• Maintain ongoing communication with tenants, clients, owners, facility management team and vendors.

CBRE carefully considers multiple factors to determine compensation, including a candidate's education, training, and experience. The minimum salary for the Facilities Maintenance Ops. Manager position is $115,000 annually and the maximum salary for the Facilities Engineering Ops. Manager position is $125,000 annually. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on their skills, qualifications, and experience. Successful candidates will also be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on CBRE's applicable benefit program. This role will provide the following benefits : 401(K), Dental insurance, Health insurance, Life insurance, and Vision insurance.
