• Position Overview Gregory Construction is seeking a skilled Project Controls Scheduler to join our team in Huntsville, Alabama .
• This position is responsible for developing, monitoring, and maintaining project schedules for multiple construction projects to ensure work is completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with company standards.
• This is an on-site position located in our Huntsville, Alabama office .
• A hybrid arrangement may be considered for candidates who reside outside the area, based on qualifications and experience.
• Key Responsibilities Develop, update, and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or other scheduling tools.
• Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and superintendents to establish realistic and achievable schedules.
• Track and analyze project progress, identifying critical paths, risks, and potential delays.
• Prepare and present schedule updates, reports, and forecasts for internal and external stakeholders.
• Support project controls functions including cost tracking, resource loading, and earned value analysis.
• Ensure compliance with company and client scheduling standards and reporting requirements.
• Assist in planning meetings and provide input for continuous improvement in scheduling processes.
• Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in project scheduling, preferably in the construction industry.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 and / or Microsoft Project .
• Strong understanding of construction sequencing, critical path methodology, and project controls.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
