Director Hospital Plant Operations

Community healthcare facility looking to bring on Director Plant Operations!

Plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, administers and controls the operations of the Engineering, Maintenance, Grounds departments. Fills all duties of hospital safety officer. Maintains compliance with applicable regulatory agency requirements, including; The Joint Commission (TJC), Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS), Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), State and Local agencies, The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), etc.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Must hold a valid driver's license
• Knowledge of NFPA codes and standards, Joint Commission and CMS standards, OSHA, EPA and state and local codes and standards
• Holds current Certified Healthcare Facility Manager certification or has the ability to obtain within one year
• Is a member of the American Society for Healthcare Engineering and participates in local ASHE chapters, meeting, training
• Experience or working knowledge in all aspects of building trades, including HVAC, mechanical, plumbing, electrical, carpentry
• Intermediate level computer experience. Utilizes Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
• Experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems and Building Management Systems
• Previous project management experience
• Demonstrated leadership experience in managing a diverse labor force. Ability to interact with senior leadership in a professional manner.
