Job descriptionWork in a Level 1 Trauma Center Emergency Room Night shifts, 3x12 hours (7 : 00 PM - 7 : 30 AM), with no block scheduling allowed Every other weekend (2 weekends per month) required Mandatory floating to other units or facilities, potentially up to 50 miles away, with notification possible 2 hours before shift Patient care may extend to various unit types, including those outside primary competency with a team-based support model Uses Cerner EMR system; EMR experience preferred Navy blue scrubs required, not provided by employer Strict compliance deadlines, including lab work within 72 hours of assignment acceptance Maximum of 5 days off (RTO) during contract, with no more than 2 consecutive days and no time off on weekends or holidays, including days before or after a holiday No block scheduling or special requests for shift arrangements will be approved Holiday call-outs may result in contract cancellation Team-based support available if floated outside area of primary competency First time travelers accepted Active IL RN license required at time of consideration (no pending licenses) Minimum 2 years of recent ED acute care experience required Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and PALS certifications required Proof of COVID vaccine required (boosters not required) Must reside within 75 miles of the facility to be considered as a local candidate High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts
