Pharmacist

Action Staffing Solutions is seeking Pharmacists for one of our Government clients. The position involves providing on-site services from Monday to Friday, except for recognized US holidays or facility closures due to emergencies, administrative closings, or Government-directed facility / installation closings.

The shift available : 1st shift : 6 : 30AM through 3 : 00PM

The duties for this position include :

• Provide pharmaceutical verification of prescription orders of legend, OTC, Medical Surgical (Med / Surg), and Controlled Substances to patients requiring care.
• Assessment of drug order and cross match with medication presented at checking stations.
• Pre-verification of medications loaded into mechanical apparatus to dispense medications in prescription bottles.
• Verification and fill of controlled substance orders, schedules III, IV, and V.
• Perform Quality Assurance functions and supervision of contracted Pharmacy Technicians.
• Follow policies regarding documentation and reports to meet facility and commission policy.
• Provide full checking, labeling, and quality assurance within the written policies and procedures.
• Dispense medications within corporate and regulatory guidelines for controlled substances.
• Must be able to understand the precautions required when handling hazardous materials and hazardous waste

Pay : $73.42 to $81.13 per hour, depending on experience.
