Experience Required :

Minimum 2 years solid Med / Surg or Telemetry nursing experience

Burn unit experience is a plus but not required

Previous travel experience preferred

Comfortable with 1 : 3 nurse-to-patient ratio (1 : 4 occasionally as needed)

Required Certifications :

ACLS (AHA)

BLS (AHA)

NIHSS – AHA or APEX

Position Overview :

Seeking experienced Travel Med Surg RNs for night-shift assignments in Jackson, MS. This role requires proficiency in Epic charting (EpicCare Inpatient – EMR 2014 Certified EHR Suite) and the ability to provide safe, high-quality care in a fast-paced Med / Surg Burn Center setting.

Travelers will primarily manage a 1 : 3 patient ratio and occasionally 1 : 4 as needed. Flexibility for holiday coverage is preferred to support team scheduling, though the facility aims to minimize holiday shifts for any one nurse.

Unit & Workflow Notes :

EPIC charting proficiency required

Burn unit exposure a plus

Typical patient assignment : 1 : 3 nurse-to-patient ratio

Flexible holiday coverage; facility aims to rotate coverage

Acute care setting with complex Med / Surg patients
