Manager, Deposit Maintenance

First Merchants Bank is seeking a Manager, Deposit Maintenance to join our team! This position will be responsible for ensuring the Deposit Maintenance department runs efficiently and effectively. Provide direction to the operations staff to ensure delivery of superior quality service and support for internal and external customers.

• Team Management / Talent Development

Manage staff : hire, train, mentor, evaluate performance, recommend salary adjustments and career changes, and facilitate disciplinary counseling and terminations.

Maintain sound procedures and process controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and SOX key controls.

Identify, track, evaluate and report on Key Performance / Risk Indicators (KPIs & KRIs) that monitor department performance.

Stay abreast of industry changes around operational processing rules and best practices.

Partner with key Line of Business areas regarding rule changes and how FMB internal processes and practices need to be updated.

Make risk-based decisions based on policy, standards, and processes.
