Senior Water Resources Engineer

Senior Water Resources Design Engineer Gainesville, Florida.

Our Water Group is currently recruiting an Environmental, Civil or Agricultural Engineer who enjoys the technical aspects of water resources projects. This is a career opportunity for an individual with strong technical engineering and client skills to assist with technical aspects of engineering design projects, project management, and development of proposals related to water resources projects focused on stormwater, dredging, wetland restoration and permitting projects, or similar skill sets.

Responsibilities

• Engineer with a background in Environmental, Civil, or Agricultural Engineering with strong technical skills to deliver quality products to customers in an expanding marketplace.
• Conduct both field and office elements of projects.
• Perform water quality, hydrologic, and groundwater modeling; develop water budgets; understand structural components related to water resources design improvements.
• Prepare erosion and sediment control plans.
• Using CAD, prepare design plans, construction bid documents, permitting documents and provide construction phase services.
• Collaborate with staff on project tasks in a team environment.
• Commit to the company's "Beyond Zero" safety program; follow safety standards and maintain a safe workplace.
