The Florida Panthers enter the 2025-26 season as the two-time defending Stanley Cup Champions, having gone to the Stanley Cup Final in each of the past three seasons. The National Hockey League's southernmost team, the Panthers have reached the postseason in a club-record six consecutive campaigns. The Panthers operate four facilities in Broward County, Florida : Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, the Panthers IceDen in Coral Springs, the new state-of-the-art practice facility Baptist Health IcePlex in Fort Lauderdale, as well as the renovated War Memorial Auditorium, which hosts concerts and events for the South Florida faithful.

An organization with deep roots in the community, the Panthers are owned by Vincent J. Viola, a graduate of the United States Military Academy at West Point and a veteran of the U.S. Army. Emphasizing a culture of selfless service both on and off the ice, the Panthers pillar program 'Heroes Among Us' honors a United States military veteran at every game and the Florida Panthers Foundation has four main focuses including veterans affairs, children's health and education, raising awareness for the endangered Florida panther and growing youth hockey.

Job Summary :

The Foundation Internship is a seasonal position. The Florida Panthers Foundation intern will assist in the Foundation's fundraising initiatives including the 50 / 50 Raffle, online auctions, merchandise sales and yearly events. This person is a motivated, driven individual and is eager to learn and make an impact in the South Florida community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Assist with enhancing the 50 / 50 Raffle Program through researching new ideas to increase revenue, awareness / promotion and analyzing data.
• Assist with the Foundation Game Day Staff on game days
• Provide assistance with Community service projects and special events such as our annual Thanksgiving, Holidays, Hockey Fights Cancer, etc.
• Assist in the coordination of our annual fundraising events including Cats Classic Golf Tournament, Pucks & Pints Beerfest, Stache Dash 5K, Cats & Cocktails gala and researching new event ideas
• Help in the coordination of Community game-day activations and experiences including 50 / 50 Raffle, Foundation Table, Zamboni Rides, Community Tickets, Foundation Game Day Staff
• Manage Foundation inventory, including 50 / 50 equipment and supplies, autographed items for auctions, etc.
• Assist in the creation of strategy, process of implementation, building partnerships and content creation for charitable giving
• Manage the shipping and / or pick up for all Foundation merchandise or auction items
• Submit and coordinate all celebration messages / in-game mascot visits
• Additional projects tasks and events assigned

Qualifications :

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work : This is a non-exempt (hourly) position. Must be able to work flexible hours, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
