The Larson Group Peterbilt is looking for an experienced Mobile Diesel Service Technician to join our dynamic team. The potential candidate will perform all functions of a fully qualified heavy-duty truck repair mechanic under minimal supervision. Travel within designated region is required.

Responsibilities :
Performs mechanical work on heavy-duty truck equipment and related componentsPerforms diagnosis customer problems and repair them as neededWork with and train new techniciansMaintain a neat and orderly working areaProper use and care of all Company toolsTest repairs to ensure customer problem is resolvedComplete paper work as required in a neat and professional mannerTag, wash, and box any warranty parts and turn in to correct locationClean service area, tools, and instruments and return them to their proper locationDo repairs on the road as assignedAdvise following technician with any special instructions or concerns you found when repairing truckPerform other duties and repairs as assignedQualifications :
Should possess a high school diplomaA college degree or a certificate / degree from a trade school is preferred, but not requiredPrevious dealership experience is preferred but not requiredMinimum class B CDL endorsement requiredMust pass MVR CheckIndustry certifications are preferredMust pass pre-employment physical, drug screen and background checkMust be able to have flexible schedule including working scheduled night and weekends. Schedule is based off of customer workload.Please note this is a safety-sensitive positionShould possess a High School diploma. A college degree or a certificate or degree from a trade school is preferred, but not required. Experience in a related field is preferred but not required. Must possess or be able to obtain a Class A CDL. Motor Vehicle Record must adhere to TLG MVR Guidelines.
