Overview

The Scoop on the Role : Join our dynamic team as we expand our footprint in North America! We're on the lookout for a US-based Vice President of Business Development to drive strategic partnerships and revenue growth in the USA and Canada. In this role, you'll spearhead sales of our innovative GRC and HRIS software suite. Working closely with our delivery teams, you'll play a key role in expanding and retaining our customer base in North America. If you're a seasoned sales professional with a passion for cutting-edge technology and a proven track record in software solution sales, we want to hear from you! Please note that this position requires authorisation to work lawfully in the United States upon hire and cannot be performed in Colorado at this time.

Responsibilities

  • Goal-Driven Dynamo : Strive towards business objectives, prioritising tasks and delivering top-notch experiences to potential customers.
  • Insightful Empathiser : Develop an intimate understanding of the daily challenges faced by C-level executives concerning data usage, striking the delicate balance between value and privacy.
  • Pipeline Excellence Leader : Ensure the excellence of pipeline development, management, and sales execution, consistently meeting and exceeding targets.
  • Unique Value Articulator : Showcase the unparalleled value of Grouper’s services and solutions, tailoring them to address the specific business and infrastructure challenges of each potential client.
  • Data Privacy Maestro : Develop a keen understanding of cross-industry data privacy strategies, infrastructures, and technologies.
  • Master of Sales Cycle : Take command of the entire sales cycle, prioritising execution to drive success.
  • Engagement Virtuoso : Connect with customers and prospects across various industries in the USA and Canada, identifying pathways for business growth and distinction through our GRC and HRIS software tools.

Qualifications

  • Seasoned Sales Veteran : Bring over a decade of hands-on experience in technical and software sales environments within the US / North America.
  • Sales Maestro : Boast a proven track record of exceptional performance, consistently surpassing sales and revenue targets.
  • Industry Vertical Expert : Possess extensive experience in at least one of the following industry verticals : Telecommunications, Travel & Hospitality, Financial Services, Contruction, or Retail, navigating their unique landscapes with finesse.
  • Networking Maven : Leverage your extensive industry contacts to cultivate new business opportunities, recognising the value of a robust network.
  • Educational Background : Hold a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing, a testament to your commitment to excellence in the field.
  • CRM Savvy : Demonstrate a strong command of CRM software, coupled with a meticulous approach to sales administration, ensuring no detail goes overlooked.
  • Effective Communicator : Articulate complex technical solutions with ease, bridging the gap between technical intricacies and clients' business objectives for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Consultative Selling Virtuoso : Showcase your expertise in consultative selling within large, intricate organisations, collaborating with sales channels and reseller partners to achieve mutual success.
  • Big Data Luminary : Demonstrate at least five years of prowess in the realm of Big Data and Analytics, shaping solutions that drive success.
