Job description

NOTE : This position will be based in our Houston, TX office (located in Galleria Tower 1) 4 days per week, with eligibility for a flexible work schedule.

POSITION SUMMARY : The Document Management Specialist 2 as an intermediate understanding of document control, records management, and information management. The DMS2 responsibilities include updating databases, management of electronic files. Works with a moderate degree of supervision.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Perform basic DCRM activities following procedures and documented instructions.

Works within standard operating procedures and adheres to quality guidelines.

Applies experience to complete assigned work within area of expertise.

Promotes departmental improvement and development.

Performs other duties as assigned.

Planning / organizing : Prioritizes and plans work activities, organizes personal and project timelines and deadlines, tracks project timelines and deadlines, and uses time efficiently.

Adaptability : Adapts to changes in the work environment, manages competing demands and is able to deal with frequent interruptions, changes, delays, or unexpected events.

Dependability : Consistently on time and at work, responds to management expectations and solicits feedback to improve performance.

Team Building : Capable of developing strong interpersonal networks and trust within the organization.

Safety Culture : Adheres to the corporate safety culture and is expected to model safe behavior and influence peers to meet high standards.

Quality Assurance : Commits to the understanding and implementation of quality assurance regulations, standards and guidelines of 10 CFR 50 Appendix B, 10 CFR 21, and NQA-1.

MINIMUM SKILLS, QUALIFICATIONS AND ABILITIES :

Education : Minimum of a 2-year degree is required.

Experience : Minimum of 1-2 years’ experience working in document control and records management systems. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and SharePoint) required. Good communication, computer, and interpersonal skills. Exceptional organization skills and ability to manage personal workload.

Industry Requirements : Eligible to work under Department of Energy 10 CFR Part 810.

The target pay range for this position is $24.04 – $29.02 hourly. The full pay range is $21.56 - $33.71 hourly.

At NuScale, compensation decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, full-time working experience, education and training, equity within the department.
