Hematology-Oncology physician job in Connecticut :

A large hospital, part of large health system, is seeking a Hematologist / Oncologist for locum tenens coverage.

Home of dozens of restaurants, bars, theaters, museums, and other attractions, Hartford, Connecticut is a great assignment location.

This position offers a schedule of three days per week from 8 AM to 4 : 30 PM in an outpatient clinic, with inpatient consults as needed. Call responsibilities include 2-3 weekends per year and nights on a 1 : 10 rotation. The provider will see approximately 10 inpatient rounding patients and 15 in the outpatient clinic per day. Support staff includes 10 MDs / DOs and 8 APPs. The facility uses EPIC for EMR and is a Level 1 trauma center. A Connecticut license and board certification are required, and the position is needed due to a leave of absence or vacancy.
