Job descriptionPerform all duties and responsibilities in a timely and effective manner with a sense of urgency. Promptly run food in a friendly, professional manner. Ensure guest expectations have been met and naturally exceeded. Uphold and maintain superior quality customer service and hospitality. Keep immediate supervisor informed of significant issues and take prompt corrective action. Maintain a favorable working relationship with all other company employees to foster and promote a cooperative and harmonious working atmosphere. Work as a team to ensure all facets of the restaurant are kept clean, safe and organized. Must be dressed neatly and well-groomed in company approved uniform. Walk or stand most of the 6-hour shift. Must be able to read menu items and speak English. Able to reach, bend, stoop, and perform cleaning duties. Must be able to calmly respond to agitated guests and notify a Manager immediately if the matter cannot be corrected in a timely manner. Must be able to clearly communicate guest needs to other employees including bussers, servers, and Manager. Schedules may vary and include weekends. Summary of Food Runner Responsibilities :
- Interact with guests and staff to ensure exemplary service in an efficient manner. Work closely with Server Assistants and Servers to ensure guests receive superb service.
