What you'll do

In this role, you will responsible for supporting the Systems and Development team in the Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T) of our satellite payload. Responsibilities will include evaluating payload designs, overseeing integration and development activities, and verifying compliance with system requirements. You will contribute to crafting user documentation and develop and carry out AI&T plans and procedures, assist with hands-on integration and testing of space systems.

The day-to-day

• Assisting the Systems and Development team in supporting Assembly, Integration, and Test (AI&T) of demonstration satellite at the Viasat facilities.
• Provide support to by evaluating payload designs, overseeing integration / development efforts, and assessing requirements compliance through verification activities.
• Develop documents and briefings to communicate work or study status, briefs customer as required.
• Support the development and execution of AI&T plans and procedures.
• Aid in integrating and testing space systems, including setup, fixing, and data collection.
• Participate in technical reviews and provide input to ensure system requirements are met (TRR, etc.).
• Collaborate with design, systems, and test engineers to verify integrated performance of spaceflight hardware.

Salary range

$112,000.00 - $177,000.00 / annually.

For specific work locations within San Jose, the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, the base pay range for this role is $139,000.00- $209,000.00 / annually
