A company is looking for a Patient Access Service Specialist.
Key Responsibilities
Schedule high volume of patient care appointments and procedures, acting as a liaison for providers and staff
Gather and verify patient information, confirming eligibility for health care coverage and obtaining necessary authorizations
Provide exceptional customer service, including greeting patients, checking them in, and managing telecommunications effectively
Required Qualifications
One year of experience in a medical office setting with direct patient contact, or one and a half years in a high-volume public contact role with six months in a medical office
Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without accommodation
Experience in managing high-volume, high-noise environments
Proficiency in entering patient information accurately into electronic medical records
Proof of vaccination required, with accommodations available for disabilities or religious reasons
