Director Of Warehousing And Data Governance

The Director of Warehousing and Data Governance is a key leadership role within the Office of Data and Accountability (ODA) in the Division of Data, Information and Systems Improvement in Boston Public Schools. Reporting to the Senior Executive Director of Data and Accountability, the Director is responsible for overseeing district-wide data systems, leading the design and integration of advanced performance dashboards, and managing a cross-functional team focused on data warehousing, governance, and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, exceptional technical and analytic skills, and strong team management capabilities. This role is central to ensuring that actionable data is readily available and usable across the district to support informed decision-making and equitable outcomes for all students.

Responsibilities

Serve as Data Warehousing Lead

• Develop and execute a comprehensive data warehousing strategy aligned with BPS's goals and in close collaboration with the BPS Technology department.
• Establish and enforce data governance protocols to maintain accuracy, security, and compliance.
• Serve as a strategic partner to departments across the district, translating needs into data solutions.
• Stay current on emerging data technologies and assess their value for the district.
