General Purpose
Under general direction, investigates complaints involving violations of law, county personnel rules and regulations, county ordinances, department standard operating procedures and / or policies, and a variety of sensitive or confidential matters. Interviews witnesses; reviews evidence; prepares investigative reports and presents findings.

Essential Job Functions
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED : Position reports to the County Attorney and does not exercise supervision over others.
