Sous Chef Requirements & Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of experience as a Sous Chef in a professional kitchen.Understanding of food preparation and sanitation standards.Must clear a criminal background check and drug screen.Sous Chef Preferred Background & Skills
Experience in schools, country clubs, or hospitals is a plus.Certified Kitchen Assistant certification is a plus.Sous Chef Day-to-Day Responsibilities
Oversee and manage kitchen staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance management.Ensure all food prepared meets high-quality standards.Maintain inventory levels and order food products as needed.Keep the kitchen clean and safe, ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.Perform daily inventory checks and maintain proper food storage.Assist with cleaning prep areas and perform daily cleaning duties in the kitchen.If you are organized, flexible, ambitious, and a team player, we invite you to apply and be part of our culinary team!
