Mechanical Assembler (Contract to Hire)
1st shift - 6 : 00 a.m. -4 : 30p.m. (M-Th), with potential OT on Fridays (halfday)
Overview
We are seeking mechanically inclined individuals to perform full‑cycle mechanical assembly of professional‑grade lawn care equipment, including aerators, blowers, and other specialty products used on golf courses and commercial properties. This is not an assembly‑line role—you will build complete units from start to finish, either independently on sub‑assemblies or in two‑person teams on full assemblies.
You’ll work with a variety of hand and power tools, follow blueprints, and contribute to high‑quality equipment production in a supportive, team‑oriented environment.
What You’ll Do
Perform mechanical assembly of lawn care equipment from start to finish
Use hand and power tools such as drills, torque wrenches, pneumatic tools, and basic hand tools
Read and interpret blueprints to complete assemblies accurately
Work independently on sub‑assemblies or in small teams on full builds
Build anywhere from 15 units per day to 1 unit every 2–3 days depending on department
Maintain strong attention to detail and follow quality standards
Qualifications :
At least 6 months of hand and power tool experience
1+ year of hands‑on mechanical assembly experience
Ability to interpret blueprints (similar to assembling furniture or a bike)
Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn
Mechanical aptitude—ideal for “gearheads,” auto techs, or hobbyists who enjoy working on cars

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50 / hr.
