Job description

Overview

We are looking for a senior creative strategist and visual designer to elevate ServiceNow’s critical thought leadership and strategies into executive-ready visuals that drive decisions. This role focuses on creating board-grade decks, frameworks, and visuals that fuel CDIO and CCO conversations with C-Level leadership, the ServiceNow Board, and external executives.

As part of the DT Product Activation & Adoption team, you’ll collaborate with our leaders and partners to design slides, frameworks, and infographics that clarify our key narratives (e.g., AI Native Transformation, Agentic Workforce Management, Autonomous Operations across the enterprise). Your work will directly shape conversations that influence ServiceNow’s future.

What You Get To Do In This Role

  • Design executive-ready visuals : craft slides, diagrams, and frameworks that simplify complexity and inspire confidence in board and ELT sessions.
  • Turn strategy into clarity : distill strategy into polished, consulting-grade decks that drive alignment and action.
  • Create “viral” executive moments : develop visual concepts that executives adopt and reuse across their communications.
  • Ensure brand and narrative consistency : apply ServiceNow / DT brand standards while evolving a unified visual storytelling style across big bets.
  • Work independently at the highest level : collaborate directly with executives, managing inputs, edits, and confidentiality with minimal oversight.

What Success Looks Like

  • Decisions land on first pass : decks lead to faster alignment in board / ELT reviews.
  • Viral visuals : executives adopt your slides and reuse them in their own decks.
  • Elevated clarity and confidence : boardroom conversations are sharper, faster, and more aligned because of your work.
  • Qualifications

  • Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience; a Masters with 8 years; or a PhD with 5 years in executive storytelling, consulting design, or strategic communications.
  • Proven portfolio of board-level decks, system diagrams, and transformation visuals (consulting or enterprise SaaS preferred).
  • Expertise in PowerPoint (board-grade polish), Figma, and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Fluent in consulting-style frameworks (flywheels, operating models, value chains, roadmaps).
  • Experience shaping executive narratives in partnership with senior leaders.
  • Ability to work independently at the executive level—translating ambiguity into polished output under tight timelines.
  • Comfortable using AI-assisted design tools for first-pass drafts, with strong human judgment for final polish.
  • Experience integrating AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving with AI-powered tools, automations, or AI-driven insights.
  • Compensation and Benefits – For this location, base pay ranges from $146,400 to $256,200, plus equity where applicable, with variable / incentive compensation and benefits. Base pay is a guideline and varies by location and qualifications. Health plans, 401(k) with company match, ESPP, matching donations, flexible time away, and family leave are available where applicable.

Equal Opportunity – ServiceNow is an equal opportunity employer. All qualified applicants will be considered without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, or other protected statuses. This includes consideration of arrest or conviction records as required by law.

Accommodation – If you require a reasonable accommodation to participate in the application process, contact globaltalentss@servicenow.com.

Export Control – Some roles require compliance with export control regulations. Employment is contingent upon obtaining any required licenses or approvals.
