The Multnomah County Circuit Court is hiring a Jury Clerk (Court Operations Associate).
In this role
You will provide jury functions for the court by responding to telephone, in person, email and mail inquiries regarding jury service. This will include processing requests for excusal, deferrals, electronic responses, and general questions. You will also enter data and record information received by telephone, mail, email or in person. For all jurors, you will process mail, track attendance, and provide employer letters. The role of a jury clerk is a public facing role. The ideal candidate for this position would be comfortable speaking in front of large groups of people and have the ability to be professional and welcoming in their delivery to groups of jurors.
Digitizing juror service-related documents and verifying scanned images to ensure quality and content will be part of your duties. You will also help update the Enterprise Jury Management Program with attendance and reimbursement records. You be responsible for training, information, or guidance to coworkers, attorneys, judicial staff, public, and other agencies regarding the jury process and its procedures for all case types.

Minimum Qualifications :
The qualified candidate must have a high school diploma or equivalent AND at least three (3) or more years of responsible experience in a moderately complex office or business setting involving the processing of financial, administrative, or legal documents OR any combination of education and experience equivalent to three (3) years of experience that typically supports the knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.

Parking : Multnomah County Circuit Court does not provide parking for the central courthouse or justice center staff. Multnomah does offer a Rideshare Rewards program that will provide $50 / month for eligible employees.
