Job Title :  Mid Level to Senior Estimator – Commercial Retail Restaurants Hotels – all trades

Location :  New Jersey / New York Metro Area

Position Type :  Full-Time

Overview :

We are seeking a seasoned  Mid Level to Senior Estimator  with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in preparing detailed estimates across all trades for diverse project types, including commercial, retail, hospitality, hotel, multifamily, and corporate developments. Proficiency in  On-Screen Takeoff  software is essential.​

Key Responsibilities :

• Analyze project plans, specifications, and related documents to prepare comprehensive cost estimates.
• Perform quantity takeoffs across all construction trades using On-Screen Takeoff software.
• Develop and maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
• Prepare and present bid proposals, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project requirements.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to ensure alignment on project scopes and budgets.
• Identify and evaluate potential risks and opportunities in the bidding process.
• Maintain and update historical cost data and databases for future reference.
• Participate in value engineering processes to optimize project costs without compromising quality.​
