Job Description Licensure / Certification Qualifications : Hospitalist (Admitting Service) Fargo, ND PRACTICE SPECIFICS Our Ideal Candidate : An adaptable, collaborative, team-player, looking to spend time with patients and provide top quality care. Team Composition : Strong, collegial team atmosphere with 20 full-time hospitalists and NP support. Hospital Information : 140 Beds; Closed ICU; 2 Admitting Services scheduled per day, 7 days per week Responsibilities : Emergency Department admissions, consults and direct admissions. Additional responsibilities include working with our One Call / Hospital Supervisor team taking transfers from outlying facilities. No procedures required. Work Schedule : 12 hour shifts – 24 weeks per year, flexible scheduling Support : Specialty and 24 / 7 intensivist support REQUIREMENTS BC / BE Internal Medicine BC / BE Family Medicine with a minimum of 1 year Hospitalist experience or completion of a Hospitalist fellowship. LOCATION Geography : Centrally located on the border of North Dakota & Minnesota. Proximity : 3.5 hours west of Minneapolis / St. Paul.
