What this job involves :
Join JLL's operations team as a Work Order Coordinator, where you'll serve as the critical link between building occupants, facilities staff, and vendors to ensure seamless maintenance operations. This role is essential to JLL's commitment to operational excellence, as you'll manage the complete work order lifecycle through our Corrigo system while maintaining the high service standards that drive client satisfaction. You'll contribute directly to JLL's business objectives by ensuring efficient resolution of maintenance requests, meeting key performance indicators, and supporting facilities teams in delivering exceptional building operations. This position offers excellent exposure to facilities management operations and provides a pathway for career growth within JLL's integrated facilities management division.
What your day-to-day will look like :
Manage comprehensive work order operations in Corrigo system including verifying requests, extending due dates, creating child work orders, and resolving flagged items for site operations teams
Respond quickly and efficiently to inbound work orders from building occupants, ensuring timely acknowledgment and appropriate routing for resolution
Dispatch service requests to qualified vendors, confirm acceptance of work assignments, and monitor progress to ensure completion within established timeframes
Close communication loops on all maintenance inquiries in a timely and professional manner, maintaining clear documentation and status updates for all stakeholders
Monitor and ensure compliance with client Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), tracking metrics and identifying areas for improvement in service delivery
Assist facilities staff in processing work order proposals for approvals and prepare vendor quotes and proposals to support facility operations team decision-making
Manage vendor relationships including invoice follow-up, work order closure processes, and ensuring timely completion of all maintenance activities
Required Qualifications :
Understanding of basic facilities maintenance terminology and technical aspects of building operations and maintenance systems
Proficiency in information technology tools and platforms with strong computer skills for system navigation and data management
Bachelor's degree in related field or 5+ years of experience in Facility Management, Operations, or commercial real estate environments
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation abilities for professional client and vendor interactions
Process-oriented mindset with ability to identify potential issues proactively and formulate effective solutions and contingency plans
Strong analytical and financial aptitude for evaluating costs, proposals, and operational metrics
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development with strong prioritization skills for managing multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
Preferred Qualifications :
Knowledge of local occupational health and safety requirements, critical facilities operations, and vendor management for specialized services
Advanced Excel proficiency including pivot tables, V-lookups, and creation of charts and graphs for data analysis and reporting
CMMS work order management experience with Corrigo system preferred for immediate productivity and system familiarity
Background in vendor management and procurement processes within facilities or construction environments
Experience with KPI tracking and performance measurement in service-oriented industries
Familiarity with commercial building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance operations
Professional certifications in facilities management or related fields demonstrating commitment to industry best practices
