Your Role :

As a valued member of the H&R Block team, you will empower clients by helping them make informed decisions regarding their finances and tax obligations while fostering long-term relationships.

In the role of a seasonal Seasoned Tax Advisor , you will engage clients with varying tax needs, backed by an expert team ready to provide you with the advanced tax training necessary for success.

Key Responsibilities :

• Conduct tax interviews with clients in person or via virtual channels (video, phone, chat, email).
• Prepare accurate and complete tax returns.
• Drive business growth, enhance client retention, and introduce additional products and services.
• Assist clients with IRS support and inquiries.
• Provide tax notice services if certified.
• Offer audit representation if you are a Circular 230 associate.
• Mentor and support fellow team members.
• Successfully complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Bring experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax.
• Demonstrate proficiency in completing individual tax returns.
• Type with experience in a fast-paced work setting.
• Communicate effectively in-person, via phone, and in writing.
• Meet all IRS and applicable state requirements.
• Possess at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
