Job Opportunity : Nurse Practitioner - Neonatology in Macon, GA

Pediatrix is seeking an additional Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join our outstanding group of Neonatologists at a state-of-the-art practice in Macon, Georgia. The facility features a Level-III NICU and is part of a new Children's Hospital that opened in 2019. This Magnet-designated hospital is recognized for its commitment to nursing excellence and is the only dedicated pediatric hospital in central and south Georgia.

Job Responsibilities :

• Provide care for infants in our 66-bed, state-of-the-art Level-III NICU.
• Perform variable shifts including 10-hour days from Monday to Thursday, 8-hour shifts on weekends, and cover 16-hour nights 4 days per week with no call requirement.
• Utilize advanced technologies including high-frequency ventilation, nitric oxide, and brain cooling.
• Collaborate with a dedicated team of experienced NNPs and subspecialty support.
• Participate in clinical appointments with Mercer Medical School.
• Engage in a facility that is a designated Level-I trauma center and a perinatal / neonatal regional center.
