Job description

Join Trulite as an Architectural Sales Consultant!

Trulite is expanding, and we're seeking a motivated Architectural Sales Consultant with experience in the architectural glass and aluminum industry. We offer a competitive salary range of $75,000-$90,000, plus the opportunity to grow your career.

The key responsibilities include securing new business and managing existing accounts, all while meeting sales targets that align with our manufacturing capabilities.

Your Role :

  • Actively seek new business opportunities (25%) while focusing on customer relationship management (75%).
  • Engage with clients to maintain strong relationships, negotiate effectively, and close deals.
  • Deliver impactful sales presentations to key clients and architects.
  • Develop and maintain strategic sales plans aligned with corporate goals.
  • Increase market share by nurturing existing accounts.
  • Identify and develop new accounts within your designated territory.
  • Collaborate with the General Manager to negotiate project pricing daily.
  • Follow up on quotes exceeding $5,000.
  • Provide valuable feedback to the internal team regarding pricing and competitive activity.
  • Assist in closing sales with the General Manager's support.
  • Prepare weekly sales reports highlighting sales volumes and potential growth areas.
  • Monitor competitors' activities and products.
  • Facilitate payment collections from clients when necessary.
  • A background in glazing and estimating, especially familiarity with glass shop take-offs, is beneficial.
  • Communicate with customers daily to provide outstanding service.

Your Skills :

  • Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is required.
  • Willingness to travel overnight 3-4 times a week.
  • At least 1 year of outside sales experience in the architectural glass industry or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with CRM systems and maintaining accurate sales reporting.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to adapt messages for different audiences.
  • Experience handling confidential information with care.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a results-oriented mindset.
