Our dynamic organization is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to join our team on a permanent basis. We are a fast-paced, innovative company that values the input and expertise of our accounting professionals. You will be responsible for overseeing a team of accountants, preparing financial statements, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting. Responsibilities :

As an Accounting Manager, you will be tasked with a variety of responsibilities that are crucial to the financial operations of our company. Your duties will include :

1. Overseeing the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives.

2. Directing and coordinating the company’s financial planning and budget management functions.

3. Managing the preparation of all financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, reports to shareholders, tax returns, and reports for government regulatory agencies.

4. Overseeing and managing the month-end closing process to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

5. Coordinating changes and improvements in automated financial and management information systems for the company.

6. Collaborating with other department managers to support overall department goals and objectives.

7. Monitoring and analyzing department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

8. Advising staff regarding the handling of non-routine reporting transactions.

9. Responding to inquiries from the Director of Finance, Controller, and other finance and company-wide managers regarding financial results, special reporting requests, etc.

Qualifications :

The ideal candidate for the Accounting Manager position will possess a combination of skills, experience, and qualifications, including :

1. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred.

2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in accounting or related field with a strong understanding of forecasting, budgeting, month-end close, and financial statement preparation.
