BSET Hawaii is recruiting for the position of Project Superintendent. This is a regular, full-time position located in Kapolei, HI. This position reports to the General Manager of BSET Hawaii.

JOB SUMMARY :

Under the direct supervision of the General Manager, management of field personnel and subcontractors, quality control compliance and documentation with project plans and specifications. With oversight from the General Manager ensure customer requirements are met with consistency resulting in customer satisfaction. Ensure that the work on each project is performed with the expectations for quality workmanship, safety, and professionalism. Every project is to be completed in accordance with the project plans and specifications, on schedule and under budget.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :

• Provide support to the General Manager with the overall management and coordination of Task Order Projects assigned.
• Serve as the Subcontractors and craftspeople central point of contact for the day-to-day operations.
• Ensure a thorough understanding and knowledge of contract plans and specifications.
• Provide support in the planning, scheduling, conducting, and coordinating the technical and management aspects of projects.
• Assist with budget monitoring and trend tracking to controls expenditures within limitations of project budget.
• Monitor work performed; analyze performance and establish corrective actions and controls.
• Anticipates potential schedule or priority delays and plans for alternative actions.
• Review project status weekly with the sub-contractors and assist in managing project scope, timeline, and budget.
• Respond to off-duty recalls to meet priority or emergency work requirements.
• Advises the General Manager of project status on a regular basis.
• Assist in the preparation of project daily reports, weekly progress, monthly status, and final project reports.
• Provide daily reports to General Manager on all activities the Project Superintendent is involved in each day.
• Provide leadership to ensure that work is performed in accordance with contract plans and specifications.
• Support QC testing requirements are followed and document results.
• Provide support to the management team and leadership of subcontractors.
• Examine subcontractor means and methods, material delivery schedules and identify constraints.
• Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.
