Media Development Investment Fund (MDIF) is seeking to appoint a full-time highly competent and organized professional for the position of Financial Planning and Grants Analyst in our New York City office.
The successful candidate will lead MDIF's financial planning and reporting processes including creation of annual operating budgets, program grant budgets and periodic forecasts, variance reports, and analyses. This position will be responsible for creating plans and communicating financial results to varied audiences, including MDIF management, funders, and Board of Directors.
As a member of MDIF's finance team based in MDIF's New York City office, the position will report to the CFO and work collaboratively across MDIF's global organization.
Duties include :
Monitor and maintain all active grants and related coding (fund, activity, etc.).
ensure that accurate and appropriate percentages / allocations are maintained
Maintain Grants Receivable schedule and update unrestricted and temporarily restricted net asset schedules monthly.
Education : Minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting / finance or related professional training in grant reporting.
Experience : At least three years of progressively responsible work experience, preferably in FP&A or grants administration; experience with accounting, financial planning and grants-management software and general ledger analysis.

Total Compensation includes :
Salary Range $80k - 95K (commensurate with experience)
