About the Role
Join our dynamic team as an Assistant Chief Information Security Officer (Assistant CISO)! In this critical role, you will work closely with the Chief Information Security Officer to enhance our day-to-day security operations and ensure our incident response capabilities are robust and effective. You will drive a culture of security excellence while managing the incident response process and developing clear runbooks and playbooks.
Your key responsibilities will include designing a multi-layered incident response strategy, enhancing data protection initiatives, and acting as a proactive leader in security architecture. We are looking for experienced professionals with at least 10 years in the cybersecurity domain, including 5 years in leadership roles focused on security operations, incident response, or data protection. You must be an excellent communicator, able to engage at all levels with executives, customers, and partners.
The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (an advanced degree is preferred) and possess a CISSP certification. Experience in the public sector and proficiency in Spanish and / or Portuguese would be an advantage. Success in this role will be measured by your ability to reduce mean time to detection and mean time to recovery (MTTD / MTTR), improve control health, and positively influence go-to-market initiatives.
