Medical Records Specialist

A company is looking for a ROI Medical Records Specialist - Remote.

Key Responsibilities

Process release of information requests accurately and efficiently while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations

Perform quality checks on medical records and maintain confidentiality and security of patient information

Provide excellent customer service and maintain a clean and orderly work environment

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma (GED) required

A minimum of 2 years prior experience in a medical records department preferred

Strong computer software experience, including Microsoft Word and Excel

Ability to type 50 wpm and use office equipment such as fax and scanning machines

Must be self-motivated and possess excellent organizational skills
