Senior Accounts Payable Specialist

Compile and maintain accounts payable records to meet weekly deadlines. Act as a mentor to less experienced team members. Review invoices for appropriate approval and coding. Enter invoices in the Acumatica accounts payable module. Prepare invoice deduction notices. Manage the Concur travel expense system, including employee and supervisor setup / changes. Upload travel reimbursement requests from Concur into Acumatica accounts payable. Check and approve all invoices for payment. Proofread to check for all data entry errors. Answer and research vendor inquiries. Prepare accounts payable checks, ACHs, and wires. Print accounts payable reports upon request. Maintain all accounts payable files, including approval matrices. Perform other duties as assigned.

Essential Skills :

• Accounts payable experience, ideally within the manufacturing industry.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and prioritize responsibilities.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Akron, OH.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00 / hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
