Location : Hampton is a beautiful coastal Virginia
community offering endless recreational opportunities. Located in
the Hampton Roads region, with proximity to Richmond, Historic
Williamsburg, Virginia Beach Oceanfront, and Norfolk, you can
easily explore nearby attractions during long weekends.
Position Requirements :
Board Certified or
Eligible
Completion of US residency training
in full, or foreign training with 5 years US work experience
ACLS / BLS certification (or obtainable for
residents)
Provide clinical support in an
inpatient / outpatient (primarily ambulatory outpatient) setting
VA Benefits Package :
Education Debt
Reduction Program : Up to $200K over 5 years.
Compensation : Aggressive
starting salary of $262K plus incentives.
Paid Time Off : 50-55 days
per year (includes annual leave, sick leave, Federal holidays, and
possible CME absence).
Retirement :
Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and
federal 401K with up to 5% contributions by VA.
Insurance : Comprehensive
coverage including health, vision, dental, term life, and long-term
care (transferable to retirement).
Licensure : 1 full and unrestricted license from any US
State or territory required.
Continued Medical Education (CME) : Possible $1,000 per
year reimbursement for full-time, board-certified physicians.
Malpractice : Free
liability protection with tail coverage provided.
Flexible Contract : No
Physician Employment Contract and minimal restrictions on
moonlighting.
