Compensation : $130k-$140k + bonus (depending on experience)

One of Vaco’s clients is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounting Manager with a focus on inventory to lead and manage inventory-related accounting functions. This role ensures accurate inventory reporting,  and collaborates cross-functionally to optimize inventory processes.

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee and manage all inventory accounting activities, including month-end close and reconciliation.

Monitor inventory transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal controls and accounting standards.

Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and finance teams to resolve discrepancies and improve inventory processes.

Analyze inventory valuation, adjustments, and cost of goods sold (COGS) for financial reporting.

Support annual audits and coordinate with external auditors on inventory-related inquiries.

Develop and implement procedures to improve inventory tracking and reporting.

Ensure timely and accurate recording of inventory movements and variances.

Provide insights and recommendations based on inventory trends and analysis.

Lead or support system implementations and process improvements related to inventory management.

Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff as needed.
