The Omni Berkshire Place is seeking a dedicated individual to assist in managing and directing all housekeeping functions. This role involves participating in quality assurance for the Housekeeping department and department cost control measures. The successful candidate will provide support to the Executive and Asst. Executive Housekeeper in all areas of the Housekeeping Operation. Ensuring Omni standards are met in all areas by monitoring quality assurance and consistently setting a good example.
Responsibilities include providing courteous, personalized, and attentive guest service by responding promptly and efficiently to inquiries, requests, and complaints using guest service skills. The role also involves resolving difficult or unusual problems arising with guests while maintaining good guest relationships and demonstrating outstanding hospitality through the corrective action taken. Effective communication with all departments and guests to ensure consistent service is essential. Additionally, the role involves identifying ways to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of service to guests by actively participating in the Omni Service Tradition program.
The position also requires assisting the Executive Housekeeper with various departmental functions and concerns, including opening and PM shift, maintaining turnover, uniform control, purchasing and issuance, guest requests, monthly meetings, quality assurance in public spaces and guest rooms, linen and supply inventories, purchasing linen and supplies when needed, assist with scheduling, Kronos, and payroll cost controls. Monitoring housekeeping inventories to ensure adequate levels are maintained, maintaining close communication and interaction with Front Desk and Engineering departments, and reporting all maintenance issues are also part of the role. The role involves inspecting the cleaning and servicing of all guestrooms, preparing and completing all reports needed, identifying all cleaning defects, and overseeing the Housemen to ensure they are completing all daily housemen duties / special projects.
The ideal candidate must have prior housekeeping supervisory experience in hospitality, a high school diploma or GED, a college degree preferred, the ability to multi-task, and the ability to work independently. The role offers an annual salary of $70,000.00 - $75,000.00.
